Christchurch has a beautiful Priory with a very rich history. Some of the history of the priory can be found here. The quay is next to the priory and makes for a nice short work after the visit.
There are direct trains from Sway to Christchurch which run every hour. Train times can be found here.
Leave Christchurch station by the main exit on platform 2 and walk along the path shown on the map below. It’s about a 15 minute walk. The route takes you along the Fairmile Road and and through the underpass to High Street. Walk all the way down High Street and cross a small roundabout. You will see the Priory in front of you.
There are lots of possibilities along the High Street for eating and drinking.
