A service to celebrate 200 years of the railway and commemorate the construction workers (navvies) who lost their lives during the construction of the railway through Sway. A commemorative plaque to these men will be unveiled and dedicated at the service. It will later be permanently displayed at the station.

The station at Sway will be on the round for the Sway Open Gardens this year. We hope to have the waiting room open too, which as well as providing information about the Friends of Sway Station will have rest facilities available.
