As part of the Rail 200 celebrations (200 years of the railways), Simon Hanney will give a presentation at Sway Village Hall on the impact that rail travel has had on the New Forest and its people. This presentation has been put together in collaboration with St. Barbe Museum.
The presentation is accompanied by a booklet (published by St. Barbe) on the history of rail travel through the new forest and it will also be accompanied by a showing of the film “Terminus” directed by John Schlesinger.
