Last year John Wingham of the Friends of Brockenhurst Station and Alastair Smith of the Friends of Sway station put together a detailed walk from Brockenhust to Sway under the title of “Ride and Stride”.
With the ground very dry as we approach summer, this is the perfect time to do this walk.
The details below show the journey starting with a train from Brockenhust to Sway. However, it works just as well with a train journey from Brockenhurst to Sway at the end instead.
As we approach summer the next 2 months’ trips of the month will also be walks, between Eastleigh and Winchester along the River Itchen, in 2 legs.
